Description Carcase grade timber is suitable for many construction projects including joists, studding and shuttering. It is supplied regularised (finished size approx. 70mm x 145mm) and with eased edges. C24 timber has been graded to a higher standard than C16, it is from a slower growth rate tree which gives it a tighter grain. It can be used inside or outside, if being used externally we recommend a timber treatment is used to aid protection from the elements.
